About Rookery Farm Honey

Founded from a love of bees and the Suffolk countryside, Rookery Farm Honey has grown from a handful of colonies into an award-winning honey producer from Drinkstone.

For nearly 10 years, quality, sustainability and care for the bees have been at the heart of every jar.

Meet Janet & Steve

Our passion for bees and honey turned an idea into a reality when Rookery Farm Honey was founded in 2016.

What began with a few bee colonies soon turned into a successful business with dozens of beehives producing a unique line of quality products.

Since we launched our business, we’ve stayed true to our motto:

“Best Quality Honey from Suffolk.”

In addition to staying local, we also focus on keeping our work sustainable and fair, because we know that happy and healthy bees lead to great products for our customers.

A Suffolk Setting

Rookery Farm is located in the village of Drinkstone, surrounded by a natural mix of arable land, hedgerows, gardens, and mature trees.

This diversity of forage is essential. It allows the bees to produce honey that is not only local, but expressive of its natural environment.

Unlike single-crop honey, ours is multi-floral and naturally varied, shaped by what is in bloom across the seasons.

Why Raw Honey Matters

Over-processed honey can remove much of what gives honey its true character and health benefits.

By leaving our honey raw, we preserve:

- Its natural pollen profile

- Its subtle variations in texture

- Its full aromatic depth

Our honey may appear slightly cloudy and may crystallise over time, but this is a simple sign of natural, pure honey.
